    • Blissville: Settlement, 2 mi. E of Central Blissville: Blissville Parish, Sunbury County: PO Oromocto South Branch 1856-1871: in 1866 Oromocto South Branch was a farming community with approximately 175 resident families including 7 Anderson, 9 Dewitt, 8 Duplisea, 13 Hoyt, 20 Mersereau, 12 Smith and 8 Webb families: PO Blissville 1871-1922: in 1866 Blissville was a farming community with approximately 33 resident families: in 1898 Blissville had 2 stores, 1 church and a population of 100: included settlement of South Branch: today Blissville is a locality.     • Central Blissville: Settlement, 3 mi. E of Fredericton Junction: Blissville Parish, Sunbury County: PO from 1886: included Bailey: in 1898 Central Blissville had a post office, 1 sawmill and a population of 50 and today it is a dispersed community.     • Gutherie Road: Shows on our COMMUNITY MAP, as being between Lauvina Road (in Geary) and the Shirley Road (on the edge of Oromocto, prob. where the Forest Ranger Office is). It is probably the road off to the east, on Hwy. 7, near the top of the hill (going south) on the edge of Haneytown. This road once lead into the Rifle Ranges before the new section of highway was opened from Oromocto to Saint John. The new highway would have completely blocked this road after only a short distance. (Ref: cbb)
    • Haneytown: Settlement, 3 mi. S of Oromocto: Burton Parish, Sunbury County: formerly known as Farnham Settlement for Ebenezer Farnham who settled in 1815: also formerly known as Dunlop: in 1866 Haneytown was a farming settlement with approximately 11 resident families including Hugh, James, Michael and William Haney and today it is a dispersed community.
